I DO haz teh diss fever! iz terrible! wifout lolz, I wud hav losed mai mind by now! and thank you vry much for teh encouragement (and teh heads-up on committee-crazy ... I'd wondered what was wif dem somtimes!) teh defense shud hav been dis fall, but was put off til spring so I'll be der to teech then ... :-p ... o well, iz a job!

Thank you for the good luck wishes! I am in the diss process (aka That Horrible Thing ... aka "Diss" is exactly the term!!). I've finished writing It and just have the defense to look forward to. Sounds familiar? Haz u been there/done that (and survived??!!)
