My son and I took our three dogs to the lake so the big ones could fetch their floats when we throw them in the water- when our Vizsla, Leo, got snagged on a fishing line tangled in a fallen tree. My son waded out chest-deep to free the struggling Leo from the snag. He's TOTALLY my Hero and IMMD!!

I went home this evening with the golden sunset in the back and a huge, beautiful rainbow before me. IMMD

As I was getting on the bus to go downtown with some friends for my birthday dinner, I realized I didn't have my student ID. Since my school has a contract with the city's transit system, normally I just swipe my card to cover the bus fee. Without it I'd have to pay out of pocket, but when I pulled out some cash the bus driver told me not to worry about it because he knew I was a student. A free bus ride on my birthday MMD :)

Today, it had been a rough day at work and when I got out it was pouring. I had no umbrella or anything shield myself from the on slaught while I waited for the bus. A girl about my age (20's) held her umbrella over both our heads to keep dry while we waited. Thank you girl at the bus stop. Your simple act of kindnessMMD

I recently found a kitten at the local Tom Thumb and brought him home so my husband and I could find him a good home. Our daughter adores our older cat and we were worried that she wouldn't get along with th new addition. Listening to her shrieking in laughter and "talking" to the cats as the kitten played with the older cat and when he came near her dispelled our fears and MMD.

Last night I got a call from a friend saying that her house had been destroyed by the tornado through Joplin, MO, but her family is safe. All day today mutual friends from across the country have been online finding ways to get all the items they need to survive day to day to them ASAP. Their caring and the feeling of doing something to help someone else MMD!
