To some extent, I explained HORNY 2012 on my FB Page's Timeline (fb.com/djrlolz), starting March 17th with the "KONY 2012 | Know Your Meme" entry. Amidst thrashing his meltdown with lolz, I provided some background so people could understand them. :)

Yeah, the odds of being Featured on Memebase seem slim. What's more, yours bypassed Vote. :o However, it's not fan count. LOL! That WILL skyrocket as a result, though. My first, and only, was my Jason Russell "exposes hardness"(994642944) the other day. And, in no way bragging, I somehow have 10x the fans. Mine did go through Voting, and I just about fell over when it hit Featured.

holy hell it did! wow front page of memebase, thats pretty dam awsome, i think because of that ive gained over 200 fans! tho sadly yea the beta doesnt show how many favorites its has so i wont find out till its sorted. i just wished things like this woud stay the same!

Hopefully it'll all work out, but yeah... When it affected me viewing said feedback about my lolz is when I flipped. I've dropped my petition, though, because I don't think it'll catch. Most people probably think that there's nothing they can do/say to prevent the progression, and I suppose rightly so. *shrug* As for ads, I use a blocker, so it's just a bunch of white-space to me. :)

yes. the beta has alot of issues, for one i cant see whos favorited my stuff neither how its been voted :( also they have just rearranged everything wich just annoys me as usual, and the new design seems that its hole purpose it to hold more ADS! i freekin hate ads, and now their gonna be all over memebase? dam. ugh i really dont like change :(

Well, I have nothing against change. Nor against minimalism, if it works and retains needed/desired features. MY issue is that they're forcing a BETA (ie: incomplete, bugs, etc...) on us. But, if you like, you can "sign" my anti-beta petition by recapping my blank beta-header template under cheezburger.com/djrcreative/pics ;)

Don't get me wrong, I love cartoons. Classics like 1st gen. Looney Tunes. LOVE anything by Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter's Lab, etc...). I'll agree regarding cartoon superiority over everything else on TV. To some extent, that's part of the current problem. No TV. LOL! Cable's for internet. Otherwise, memeability is indeed important. ;) PS - I hate ponies. j/k

ah well i tried :) --- why? well in my opinion at least i think its just because its a good show, its animation style is nice on the eyes, the storylines are interesting, its VERY easy to make memes out of, and its just a good change from all the other shit on tv at the moment :) allthough most of all its just because it feels good to watch! (and of course everyone secretly likes ponies :0)

btw the new one 'my little pony - friendship is magic' is COMPLETELY different to any or the older ones, its basically a different show :) people have to ignore the name to get the acctual concepts of the show. also there is no demograpic any more (if anything its 20-40 something like that). its a very quickly growing group :) as for rage comics i kind liked them but got board after a while, i still like the concepts tho :)

Unfortunately, I'll never be into rage comics...because of how they're drawn -- poorly. Same holds true for a lot of other comics/cartoons. However, I'd consider MLP ideally drawn, soo... :) Took me a while to figure out (ie: research due to excess curiosity) that Brony was (still) MLP. I understand and respect that it's about comradery, but as for becoming one? I'm a bit beyond the demographic (35 yrs. old). Bear in mind, I played with 1st gen. ponies thanks to a sister 3 yrs. younger, and therein lies another quirk of mine. I generally dislike remakes. :/

yea ive been into memebase since.. probably earily december last year but i liked the rage comics on tublr for a while before then :) ah well as you spend time on memebase you'ill discover all roads eventually lead to being a brony :0 trust me its a great community (easily my favorite part on memebase) ha :) so whats your views on the whole 'brony' thing?

Thanks! And I've only been here since early January. :o My posters & bubble captions are about the only original contributions. Everything else, especially FAILs, are just recycled, mostly from sites whose languages I don't understand. :s However, I cross-reference via Google Image in an effort to not duplicate them here. As for traditional memes, rage, troll, etc...I just never got into them. *shrug*

Thanks for fav'ing "Felis domesticus". :) Otherwise, I recently discovered that one of my FAILs happened down there: http://cheezburger.com/djrcreative/lolz/View/5843301120 I thought it was a fuel truck based on tankers here, but having come across the story since, turns out that's a milk truck. LOL! Personally, I think it's funnier to imagine it being a fuel truck. ;)
