I'm glad to hear Ike missed your house. But I don't blame you for not wantin' three separate goggy walkins! The move was good; no major problems or anything. My son has a job already, the rest of us are still looking, with a couple of promising leads...so, I'm keepin' muh paws crossed!

Hurrican Ike smacked down my fence but missed the house. We've got to get 1 HUGE tree and a couple of smaller ones removed and rebuild our backyard fence. Wouldn't be so bad cept now I have to WALK all 6 dogs! And I can only walk them in two's. I'll get some exercise... DO NOT WANT! How was the move? Have ya'll found jobs yet, etc.?

OMG I'm sure! California prices blew me away! I could not believe how high everything was compared to Texas prices! Whatever you do, don't move to Las Vegas or Hawiia (sp?) unless you can make $100.00 and hour doing something! Their prices are outrageous!

That's so funny, and cool!, that all your ex's like your screenname! My husband's brother lives in Idaho. Hubby has been out of work since January and we're just about broke. Cost of living is much, MUCH less in Idaho than here in California, plus crime is much lower. We both also look forward to a slower pace of life.
