Thanks for the Good Vibrations from the North! I'm sure they helped! Between Ceiling Cat, St. Gertrude (patron saint of cats), St. Roch (patron saint of dogs), St. Anthony the Abbott (patron saint of gravediggers), St. Francis (EVERYONE knows who he is!), and the Good Vibrations from the North we made out okay! Without power for 8 days but all the critters are okay! Just got my phone and ISP back up this morning. I MISSED YA'LL SO MUCH!!! And I ahve so much to catch up on!!!! OMG! You guys have been BUSY! I just wanted to let u know I'm back & we're okay

Thanks for being concerned for us! Say a prayer, an incantation, or think good thoughts for us - whichever is your thing... Hopefully we won't lose power. If u don't hear from me in the next 7 days u can assume we lost power, pass the word along to ur friends that know me too. If u NEVER hear from me again I lost my computer :( Y

Hi Torontokat! Yes, Ike is headed STRAIGHT for us! We don't evacuate bcause I don't know anywhere we can take 23 cats, 6 BIG dogs, and a guinea pig??? We have standard provisions all the time, but we have to collect our posse and secure them before the storm hits. Every dog gets a crate (and tranquilizers if neccessary) and the pissy - I don't want to be INSIDE - cats do too. We move Pig Boi away from the window, and the rest of the cats stay loos - unless the winds get high - then we kennel THEM too! We've already boarded up our patio door - our highest risk glass!

I only correspond with animal lovers and tree huggers online - too many weirdos out there! I've got some friends (IRL) who actually hooked up with someone they met on line and it was a disaster for both of them! My son couch surfed up the East coast one summer then the West coast the next year and the worst problem he had was a husband or 2 that he didn't know about! FOFLMAO!

Sometimes it's a Good Thing 2 be private - I Totally UNDERSTAND! My oldest son does not! He posts everything - even pictures of him having sex with his girlfriends!!! Does NOT sound like a GOOD IDEA, huh??? Someday maybee he'll find out that u can't putt everything "out there" for the public!

Hi -- As you can tell, I'm in Toronto. I'm a single woman here (and an ex-wife, by the way). I love dogs and cats, but can't have one at the moment for complicated reasons. I'm not in a witness protection program, thank God!!! But tI guess I'm just very private these days, and still haven't decided what to put on my profile page. I do love the cheesburgr site, and am amazed at how many people are good at those captions. I really enjoy yours. Thanks for getting in touch with me. torontokat
