The crowds aren't too bad this year. The day after Thanksgiving is usually the worst as far as crowds go. I've been re-writing lyrics to Christmas songs for years, tho. Most of my contributions to the *Misheard Lyrics* series are Christmas songs. There's one BEAUTIFUL song that they play that's by the Vienna Boys Choir. It has incredible harmonies, and musical arrangement, but I keep hearing the opening line as *Merry Christmas to a doorknob, Merry Christmas to a doorknob*. I don't know what the real lyrics are, nor the name of the song, so I can't do a lol for it-bummer.

I hear you- I managed to get away with not having any, not getting married and the whole customary nonsense. I'm quite proud of myself for having gotten away with it. If you have a good job, maybe you don't have to do the customary thing-and besides, with 6 or so billion people on the Earth, if a few don't occur, so what?

So do I. Kids these days think they're immortal and have very little concept of harm or death. They get in cars and speed on down the road and then off the road, into the air and into a tree or something. They like to be a little wild, and test the boundaries. And if their parents knew what they were doing, they would be grounded until they were 35.

Speaking of thongs, one day last year I went into the fitting room and found tickets for 10 prs of thongs. I sincerely hoped she wasn't stealing them by wearing them all under clothes. That would be an excuse to hurry home and get rid of that wedgie she was wearing. It was a funny picture, thinking she had to put them all on to get them out of the store. I have to do some errands today, so Im going to be gone for a while-car payment, cable bill. groceries etc. Be back later this afternoon. See ya. Oh, what are you doing your thesis on?

I work in a dept store as a dept mgr-ladies, boys, girls and fashion accessories. So it's christmas season, and serious shopping season. It's also serious packing-the-store-with-stuff-for-them-to-buy season.
