Hahahaha, not really. But it's not the super-hero kind of comics. Perhaphs it's alternative, but I wouldn't call it "hipster". What comics are YOU into? :)

Don't let the "socially acceptable" be your main parameter when you're talking to me! The last thing I want is to judge other people. Dude, as long as you're not into raping dogs, hitting children & such, you're ok with me. Lol. I've been really into the brazilian authors lately, don't know if you've heard of any of them. But "Blankets", by Craig Thompson, is in my top 10 list :)

Yeah that's probably the best way, although it probably wouldn't work for me - it's not really socially acceptable to like the things I like where I'm from D: What comics are you into by the way?

Nah, people just assume I'm crazy. (I'm not -- though that's the kind of thing a crazy person would assure you as well... Damn, I'm losing the point here, lol). The easier way to get out of the "embarrassment bubble" (as I like to call it) is to talk about something you like by heart and not care about what the other person's gonna think about it. Like when I start talking about comics. ^^

Pineapples? o_O I guess you could come off as quirky? :D I'm kind of shy as well, I always sort of seize up when talking to someone I like. It's so embarrassing :P

Yay, thanks. And it's actually true. When I'm alone or tallking to my friends, I can chill and act natural. But when I'm around someone I care about, I'm like "I LIKE PINEAPPLES!!!!!!!! YAY!!11" and other stupid things like that, lol. Guess I'm a little bit shy ^^
