My facebook profile picture is the same 1 as this, Zoidberg costume. I will try skype also though.

By gabicesar on Jan 26, 2012 at 2:13 PM

Try to add me on Skype: gabrielacesar@globo.com or gabrielaribeirocesar. One of those should work, I guess.

By gabicesar on Jan 26, 2012 at 2:10 PM

Wait, that's true. My privacy policy won't let you add me, I had some... trouble... a time ago with a stalker, and you can only add me if we have friends in commom (which I suppose it's quite unlikely). There're lots of "Alex Huddleston"s, which one are you?

By huddl3 on Jan 26, 2012 at 1:30 PM

It could be because of the two different language versions of facebook but when i try that link it doesn't load properly, want to try to add me instead Alex Huddleston.

By gabicesar on Jan 26, 2012 at 10:46 AM

You could add me on Facebook, but I always post thing in portuguese so my friends can understand it... Maybe that would bore you (but if you must, it is http://www.facebook.com/aquelagabi). I do have a Skype account, but I don't remember what's my effing username right now :S I'll send it to you once I get home (I'm @ work right now).

I suppose that could work out, but if we wanted to discuss it it would be best to do it over something other than this messaging system, do you have facebook, skype, or anything else like that? Also, you will not be disappointed by the Discworld Series, think Harry Potter with Adams' humor, and if you are interested the first book in the series is "The Color of Magic."

By gabicesar on Jan 26, 2012 at 10:11 AM

I'd love to find other authors with the same sense of humor as Adams'. I kinda miss that, to be honest. I've never read anything by Terry Pratchett, but I can assure you that can be fixed! What about a reading challenge? We both buy "Into the Wild" this weekend so we can talk about the book according to our cultures. What do you say? Did I hear "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!"? Huh?

By huddl3 on Jan 26, 2012 at 9:10 AM

LOL, I love H2G2 that is exactly my kind of funny. I have read Into the Wild, kinda odd you mentioned it because part of the book, when he is in South Dakota, takes place within about 20 miles of my home town. I have never heard of American Gods but after I did a Wikipedia search it I have read Good Omens by the same author, Have you ever read the Discworld Series by Terry Pratchett?

I've written an article on Spider Man for a Congress. Comics are serious business in my life! I wanna write my master's degree on how comics could improve the education of teenagers. I do like reading, one of my fav authors of all times is Douglas Adams. But I've read "Into Thin Air" (Krakauer) recently and it made me want to read "Into the Wild" as well. Do you have any book suggestions for me? Have you read "American Gods", by Gaiman? It's awesome.

By huddl3 on Jan 26, 2012 at 8:24 AM

No, sorry I haven't heard of those, I have read a Manga or two before but not much. My favorite comics would probably be Deadpool, and some other Marvel series. Other than comics do you do any other reading, like novels and if so do you have a favorite series or author?

By gabicesar on Jan 26, 2012 at 2:26 AM

I've been to Buenos Aires, and it's such a pretty city! I'm planning to go back in there in September, for a Congress. I used to be a big fan of mangás (japanese comics), but today I'm really into the brazilian authors. I don't think you'll know any of them, but you might have already heard of the "Umbrella Academy" series? The guy who drew it is one of my favorites. What about yourself? Any favorite comics?

Hi again, its Alex, how are you today?

By huddl3 on Jan 24, 2012 at 4:53 PM

Cool, any specific cartoons? Also, ever been anywhere outside of Brazil, not that you would want to that country is beautiful.

By gabicesar on Jan 24, 2012 at 4:46 PM

Cartoons, mostly. I love comics! :)

Civil Engineering. What do you draw and what kind of drawings do you do, realistic, landscapes, cartoons, or anything else?

By gabicesar on Jan 24, 2012 at 4:27 PM

I'm taking drawing lessons. Also, I'm gonna continue to have german lessons as well. I wanna submit a couple of papers for a Congress in Buenos Aires. What kind of engineering are you studying?

Nothing really, the only thing that I definitely have planned for this year is a trip to Kansas City for the MLB All Star Game, other than than that, nothing, but its only January though. Do you have any plans for this year?

By gabicesar on Jan 24, 2012 at 4:11 PM

Nah, we're just doing it for fun. We're learning samba, salsa, tango and some brazilian rythms. I'm a graphic designer, I work mostly with books, catalogues and magazines. I like movies, and this year I'm gonna learn how to draw :) What are your plans for 2012?

By huddl3 on Jan 24, 2012 at 4:04 PM

I suppose you can call it a sport, if I'm not mistaken there is a form of dance in the Olympics. What kind of dance, also what else do you do?

By gabicesar on Jan 24, 2012 at 4:00 PM

I'm not into sports all that much, but I'm having dance lessons since last year, does that count as a sport? Lol ^^

I'm an 18 year old engineering student in a small (compared to Sao Paulo) town in South Dakota. When I'm not wasting time here I enjoy playing & watching sports, especially baseball & American football, and some aspects of college life.
