I tried the dual spears a few times and the r1,l1,l1 combo seems to work pretty well for catching people at a range, it's just because if you start a combo with l1, the first swipe of it has incredibly low range, and people can just slap you out of it, so I try to stay at max range and poke with r1 to start a combo. That havel's greatshield video was hilarious by the way. I've gotta try that myself. It looks like it would be fun to troll people with, but I bet it's the worst possible gank fighting build. Every fight in that video was 1v1. I'm pretty sure you'd be helpless against more than 1 enemy, even with all that stability they would probably guard break you or just hit you from the side or behind. I've had so much fun doing low level pvp in that game though, where people don't friggin kill you in a single hit or have the resources to constantly have 3 phantoms and seeds of giants constantly. Speaking of the seed, I actually low level invaded a host that had 3 phantoms and the seed up and they were all wearing obscuring rings and were hiding in the level just trolling people that invaded them. It was kinda funny, but I eventually found and killed the hosts. His phantoms tried to jump in but were too late. There was a mad phantom in that match that was sniping the hell out of phantoms with a greatbow, that guy was epic. I wish I got his name, because he pulled off some sick shots and kept nailing phantoms. And yeah, I never summon either. People that constantly run back to bonfires to summon more phantoms are hilarious. I think when you get invaded, it should cap the amount of phantoms the host can have to keep it fair, and they don't see any signs anymore after they hit that cap until they banish the enemy phantoms. There's a cap on red phantoms that can invade, so why the hell isn't there a cap on the phantoms that they can summon? It's asinine. We already have half estus and non-ember health as a disadvantage, do we need even more? Oh and pyromancy and sorcery is meh. I've only ever had success throwing spells into a group of people that aren't paying attention to me, otherwise people just dodge it easily. I assume spells like homing crystal mass would still be useful in pvp, though since they compliment your melee instead of being their own form of attack that can just be dodged. Sorry this message was all over the place when I usually organize our conversation from start to finish. I hope you get Skype figured out so we can talk on there soon!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vf3Wj_d-aOE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FW2B3P3A_30 Hahaha you got me watching Dark Souls 3 videos now. If I come across a super laggy player that starts floating or walking in place or hitting me from across the map, I've started just dashboarding the game to keep from wasting my time. There should be some sort of system in place to prevent that type of crap. I've spent the past two days doing high level pvp and I only have one bit of advice as far as high level pvp goes, AVOID IT. Every match is just 4v1 gankers with the dried finger that kill you in a single combo with great weapons even if you have 40 vigor and the life ring. Great weapons are definitely broken in the game right now, seeing a non-great weapons is literally rare at level 120. Most people use the Dragonslayer Greataxe or the Black Knight Greataxe and just poise tank everything, and if you ever trade with them, they'll just do 1600 damage in two hits and kill you in a single combo. And if you try to parry them, the timing is incredibly off and if you miss time it, the stamina damage will prevent you from rolling away from their follow up swing, and then you'll be stunned for a third swing which is guaranteed death, so parrying is also not viable. I've even pulled off a few parries, but the 4 people I'm up against will just gang bang me before I can press r1 to riposte him, and if you try to run away, they will just dash r1 you, which is really easy to parry, but again they'll just gangbang you before you can do anything about the parry. But I had fun with the murakumo when I actually managed to get a 1v1. I'm not sure how the poise frames work on the 2h L2 skill. I've seen people poise through everything and do crazy damage with it, but I have mine infused with chaos, so it has A/A scaling in Faith and Int and I have 40 Faith and Int and a fire bracing ring to further increase damage, but I can't seem to hit nearly as hard as people do with just a regular Dragonslayer Greataxe. Overall the murakumo is decent, but it's not an ideal gank fighting weapon. I also made a pure int build with the moonlight greatsword and that also seems decent for 1v1 but is terrible against ganks, the only ganks I beat were ones I managed to isolate the hoste and instakill him with a hornet ring riposte after a parry. But yeah, I think I'm going to keep low level pvping on my level 30 and 60 characters, I might also make a level 90 one too, not sure, but 120 is turribel.

Hey, Tiny told me that you are having trouble downloading Skype because it is requiring you to enter credit card information. I looked it up and there is a forum post that tells how to download it without having to give credit card informations. 1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important) 2. Go to App Store and select a free app 3. Tap INSTALL APP 4. Create New Apple ID 5. Confirm Your Country 6. Agree with Terms and Conditions 7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID) 8. Create and answer your secret question 9. Select NONE for Payment Method 10. Fill in Billing Address 11. Submit application for new Apple ID 12. Wait for verification email 13. When email arrive, verify your account 14. Start downloading your free apps Hopefully that's not too much of a hassle for you, but you should try it because we'd love to have you on there! :D Ok now let me respond to the Dark Souls messages. =P

It's literally took me all day to send you this on this... I can't really put it in words how stupid this site is | Now you tell me. :P yes, phone and PC(laptop). D: I've always hated Apple, now you've just added more fuel to the fire. Apple probably wants your credit card info so if you want to use Skype credits at any time you can. it's definitely an Apple thing because Google Play doesn't ask for your credit card on Skype.

Yeah Snips and Snails need to get out already. I don't think we will get episodes like that anytime soon :( But hey! Trixie and Starligt in the same episdoe and they are friens! The world is not a terrible place after all.

Maybe Trixie was busy all this time learning more about magic, maybe that's how she become friend with Starlight in the first place, maybe they were learning together or something. I think the episode will be about Trixie showing Twilight that she can be a good pony doing friends and stuff like that, maybe they will have a little fight in the process (I hope so). Boast Busters was pretty meh for me, with Snips and Snails... Just.. No. I wonder what will be Trixie's reaction to Alicorn Twilight, the castle, etc. I also miss episodes like that, something like the Swarm of the Century (I really like that one), I don't think we will get something like that any soon, Episodes now are mostly about 1 or 2 Mane6 solving X problem with external characters, just like in S5 they added more and more new characters. I hope we can get an episode with Pinkie Pie without her being annoying.

I have Android, so I;m not sure what's with the not free Skype. I know this might sound dumb, but have you typed in "Skype free." Is there an option to look at only free stuff. I looked online and it's free for Apple products too. You could try even going to the Skype website and clicking "download to iPad." | I keep Skype open on my computer when I'm home. On my phone it will make a sound when a conversation I'm in gets activate But just once unless I look at the activate. so If three people and a group say something you'll get 4 notification. Bendy is always set to busy so he does get notifications. It's up to you if you start to dislike the notification. You will see a number next to a conversation, It can get pretty high. Don't get frustrated by it, it's how many times someone said something in the conversation that is new(you haven't read yet). You DON'T have to read it, you can just skip to the bottom. You shouldn't do that to someone your talking to individually though. That's rude :P | Hopefully I said everything and hopefully It doesn't end up really frustrating you. I really want you apart of this, I know Cody and Zaboo do too. :D

That would be both awesome and dangerous. I have no idea why they do this, maybe they want them to last longer, just like past season, so the Halloween episode could be in date (I think). Or maybe just like you said, to make room for some other shitty show. Oh man I'm so excited for this, both Starlight AND Trixie. I hope they don't screw it up but if they do OH WELL, Her episodes in S1 and S3 weren't that good >.> hell I didn't even like Boast Busters so if they ruin it I will be happy anyway, but if the episode is actually good it will be perfect. She seems like she always is so have my hopes.

I didn't mention this before when you said you don't do guides. I don't either, or watch playthroughs like ENB unless I'm either past the part he's on or after I beat the game.

[Plays commercial music] Have you ever wanted to tell one of your friends something that happened on DS3 right away? Well, you can with Skype. One time Cody sent me "I just fought 6 people and won!" [End of commercial] I don't see how you guys can do PVP. I tried to summon Cody to help me with something but his sign wouldn't show up and I got invaded by two players. I tried, but I wasn't good enough. :(

Everyone has massive weapons and they just poise tank everything to trade since those weapons are practically unparryable and if you miss the parry, which you probably will, you'll take almost all the damage from the hit and be emptied of stamina, then they'll hit you again with a followup with stuns you and then get to hit you a second time from that stun, which is guaranteed death even if you have max health and the heaviest armor, so going for a parry is suicide, and trading is also suicide, and they even recover from swinging so fast that if you dodge their attacks and try to counter, they'll either swing again and trade you which stuns you and then hit you again, or they'll be out of stamina but still have enough time to recover enough stamina to roll away even if your weapon is fast. It's completely stupid. If you have a great weapon and you're a smart player, you're almost untouchable. Level 120 ganks is just 4 guys with the dried finger up all with great weapons spamming r1 at you and if you ever try to swing at them you just instantly die. I take the games pretty slow too, but I've spent so much time playing it that it was inevitable for me to beat it quickly haha. I even spent a ton of time doing pvp before beating it. My first like 3 days with the game were almost constant pvp at the halfkeep fort. Magic isn't that strong, yeah. But they are still used in ganks to take out half your health by spamming crystal soul spear, and if you go after them, they just flip around spamming dodge while their 3 friends with great weapons spam r1 at you. Longsword is definitely an amazing weapon mostly because of its versatility, and I've never had too much trouble fighting an estoc because of how easily they are parried, but yeah, it's almost impossible to get in on one because they just outrange you. If an estoc user spams r1, you can parry them guaranteed after the second hit. I messed around with it and it's definitely a good weapon, but I just didn't care for it. I recently started using a dark infused murakumo on a pyromancer I made, and it's pretty fun so far. Haha that video was funny, Reminds me of this old gem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBfv3cYJBEY .

Yeah, DS3 has been turned on my PS4 almost constantly since I bought the game lol. The dried fingers certainly are awesome. I once ran through a very active pvp area in the game solo with the dried fingers up, and I constantly had 3 invaders chasing me. It was so intense man. I probably killed 10 of them and almost made it through the area, until a dual mace wielding guy on mcdonald's wifi just spammed me to death while teleporting around and hitting me with 10 miles of phantom range. I'm still having trouble with watchdogs honestly. It seems like it's only active at extremely low levels, and even then the invasions are pretty sparse. I've managed to max out the sunbro, mound makers, rosaria's fingers and the aldritch faithful covenants. The Blue Sentinels, Darkmoon and the Watchdogs just seem like they will take so long to get anywhere with since the invasions are so rare. I dunno, it's kinda been the opposite for me in my experience. I've had some pretty good 1v1 duels, but I absolutely love fighting ganks or groups of players progressing through a level. I've seriously done hundreds of invasions on several different characters and it's always fun. With the hornet ring, I can one shot any phantom that I parry, and they get so greedy that it's super easy to parry them. The thing that pisses me off most isn't the healing, but it's the baby hosts that run screaming back to the bonfire and summon waves and waves of phantoms while turtling and doing nothing but running and rolling. I had one host that summoned the same two phantoms literally 10 times each before I finally managed to kill him. It was seriously like a half an hour long invasion, but it was worth it when I finally killed him. The phantom range is kinda obnoxious at times too, and the laggy players that start floating around and teleporting drive me insane too. Whenever I see a player start doing that, I'll usually just dashboard and force quit the game rather than deal with that garbage. I'm pretty sure a lot of them know what they are doing because they'll just walk at you and spam all day and then when the connection comes back you get hit 90 times and instantly die. I'm fairly decent at parrying I guess. I've pulled off a few clutch parriies and won matches because of them, but I'm nowhere near as good as some people out there. Great weapons seem like the high level meta right now unfortunately. At low levels, there is a lot more variety, but I've done some level 120 pvp and wow.
