Enter Shikari is really sick Electrocore kinda stuff. Like hardcore with heavy synth. I saw them with A Day to Remember like twoars ago. They had to use a stand in drummer because the regular guys passport expired. He got called a wanker once or twice

Wow thats quite hipster for me, i havent heard of either.. I dont really know current bands so well tbh, i havent really listened to much music since i left my band, kinda fell out with the scene..

Are you an Enter Shikari fan? Or August Burns Red?

Yeah, when i was in my band there was a huge metal scene, but it tapered off into some kind of ska/punk scene. not really my thing tbh but it was good to see people still playing live in the area :)

We are in the middle of a pop punk revival here. We had a huge hardcore scene but it vanished as quickly as it appeared

Lol sounds like where im from in england to an extent :D but plenty smaller than washington ofc. I hear theres shows going on a lot here in Frankfurt too, but i dont know where.. I havent seen much of a local music scene either, live houses etc. The local scene was thriving back home when i used to be in a band

Lol here when its not raining its foggy and when its not foggy its frozen. No i love washington. Its green all over with huge mountains. Seattle is awesome because its right on the ocean. Theres always an abundance of shows to go to

Its pretty kewl, get a hair-of-the-dog saturday morning whilst walking around food stalls cooking all kinds of amazing and delicious smelling meat :D You're not allowed to drink outside in the UK either, but they are pretty chilled about it in Japan. No coincidence the places ive been the happiest are there and here in Germany :D I can have a drink on a saturday morning and not be accused of being an alcoholic! Ive never been to the states though, whats life like in washington?

It would seem safeway has some things to learn. I would love to experience a free drinking culture

unfortunately i couldnt tell you, i didnt get chance to investigate the last one, and ive only been here 6 months T_T im looking forward to finding out though! however there are plenty of great places to drink and ge good beer here regardless - only today i walked through a market at 10am-ish and saw people walking around drinking wine/punch whilst they did their grocery shopping. Now THAT is the kind of shopping style i like to see :D

Lol heavy drinking is the only way to pass the winter. Grey skies would get too depressing otherwise. Question. Is Oktoberfest the most awesome thing ever?

Ah, I used to be in a band myself many years ago - cant say im really a musician though XD translation is good, im getting to work with some interesting projects so life is only dull on occasion :3 We make up for those times with some heavy drinking though, so its all good!

I am a musician. At least thats what i like to tell myself. I also work at Staples lol. Hows your video game translating going?

By Comyna_the_Red on Feb 1, 2012 at 3:51 AM
