Nice! Bryce and Arches are definitely on my list. I hear they are amazing. Too TRUE about them going!! I do a little scuba diving and I feel like it's a race to see the places before they go!

ooooh! The only Nat'l parks I've been to is Bryce Canyon and Arches . I'd love to see Yellowstone and a few others before they are destroyed. :-(

Yes, I imagine you get about every migratory species moving through TX--lots to be seen. And Waxwings--so sleek and pretty--that would make my day! Sounds like you have covered a lot of ground too. I'm _slowly_ working on seeing National Parks in all the 50 states. One of these days, I'm going to take some time off and hit them all like a big game of pin-ball.

Well, I'm afraid my birding is mostly local. Texas is lucky to have a major part of the migratory trail run right through it, so I always look forward to spring migration. Yesterday morning, several Cedar Waxwings came through my neighborhood and sampled our budding pecan tree. As far as traveling goes, I've been to Europe, lived in Ireland and traveled a lot through the states.

They don't feature birds nearly enough on here. :) I love all animals, but birds I find amazing on a whole separate level. Where have you traveled and did you go just for birds?
By Razuli on Apr 11, 2011 at 6:42 PM
No, not this one, unfortunately. (Isn't he a beauty?!) But I do love birding and have photographed several while out on birding excursions.
