I had the usual 'thank you for your interest' reply to my note to the cheeses, but have not heard any more. If they do introduce it, they will have to make it a secure and separate site to avoid falling foul of the parental control systems. Also they will have to ensure that items favourited by one's friends do not appear one one's profile as do all items from all parts at present - this might offend some and again minors are involved. I am aware that advertising is what pays for the enterprise and porn pays, but hope it can be kept away from Lolcats etc.

I suppose that if it is to be a completely separate site like Failblog, then it might be OK, and might even keep "our" place free of the slightly less savoury LOLs that have cropped up more frequently of late. I still think it a retrograde step, pandering to the lowest tastes and dragging the tone down. If it is made part of Lolcats, then I fear that many of the regular contributors will find another place to relax.

Do you think a message to the big cheezes would stop the "after dark" thing? I had a look at the content and it leaves a nasty taste - I'm no prude, I enjoy some off colour jokes in the right place, but ICHC is not the right place.
