Well behaved? That's extraordinary! Snickers understands english perfectly (but she gets upset when my daughter starts speaking spanish), and if properly motivated, will obey voice commands. Properly motivated means there is a treat involved. No treat, no performance. She has trained us well. She acknowledges me as the pack leader, but she just adores my wife.

They do indeed look a lot alike. Yours has a little more white around the collar. By all means, please post some more pics of your dog. I love captioning basset hounds. I have put a half dozen basset pics on the front page (Plus a couple of dachsunds). They're such comical characters to start with, before you even begin adding words.
