Yes. I will gradumicate in May with a BSIS in elementary ed plus sped. I am going to add a second certification in American Sign Language as I really hope to end up teaching ASL at the high school and continuing to do some sign language interpreting for my district. The elementary ed degree was a decision I made ten years ago when I was a lot more energetic. At this point I have interpreted every grade from pre-K to adult ed and was surprised to find that I really enjoyed the high schoolers. YIKES! 'Tis midnight and I must off to bed! I'm going to hate myself in the morning. (I've got lousy time sense, and Daylight Savings Time is not helping!!) TTYL-- mrs_z

Yes, I work with HS transition students and also a lifelong learners program at a community college. Both programs offer non-credit classes for practical living skills and personal enrichment. Students really enjoy taking classes at the college. Are you planning to teach? I'm heading off to bed soon. Love to chat more with you about it.
