I'm a cat person, but I also love Pugs and Boston Terriers. I see you are also friends with my great friend, wally01. We met on this website and both live in the same small town. She's a nice lady who has a lot of rescue animals. :)

Looks like a great magazine! Love Shelties and nearly had one as a kid. Now we have a Jack Russell who is a real treat. We've had her for three years and every single day I feel so pleased and lucky to have her! We have five cats. Sort of. We were down to three, then took in two strays who were abandoned. Turned out one of the strays was pregnant, so now we have five new kittens! I don't think it's possible to have a ten-cat and one excitable dog household, so we'll have to look for good homes for the kittens. I guess. If I have to. Sob!

I first worked for 3 years for a printing company that printed boxes, invitations, manuscripts and all kinds of things. The last job I had was proofreading for a Shetland Sheepdog magazine called "Sheltie Pacesetter." They have an international readership and a website where you can view the magazine. Just search for "Sheltie Pacesetter." :) At the time I worked for them, they were located in my hometown of Jackson, TN.

Hi! I used to be a proofreader, as well! Took me a long time to break down and make lolspeak captions. Then I got over myself. I was a proofreader for three years, back in the days when the print-outs from the typists were in dot-matrix. Oh, joy. Sitting for whole days comparing the manuscript to the print-out three or four words at a time was sure hard on my eyes! It was mostly enjoyable, getting to just sit and read all day, but then there were the auto repair manuals, math books and technical books with their awful coding. Wow! I then married a rare book dealer and have been selling used/rare books ever since. What sort of proofreading did you do? ~~ Jenny
