Hai myroom! Long time no talk. How are yu? Hope everything is fine. I've been busy for almost a month now, my parents were down for 3 weeks. My mom had some doctor appts near here. It was great havin them but then things got real crazy. They found bedbugs in their motel room and both were bitten and had rashes. We're still battling with the manager. That's great that your blood sugar levels are better! *happee danz* I HATE needles with a passion. I don't get the flu shot because of it. LOL I don't know how someone can give themselves a needle - I couldn't even prick my finger in a science class. I had to turn my head and told a friend to do it. LOL so much for being brave. Sunday's a lousy day for TV up here. They have all day marathons of some of the lousiest shows, so I played on the 'puter most of the day. Not a very exciting life, eh. LOL I'll be heading to bed, the cats are already fed and have gone to the bedroom to claim a spot on the bed. Have a good night *snuggles n nuzzles* Patty

It's been chilly here most of the week. I've been having better blood sugar levels lately, but I DO hate needles and having my fingers stuck 4 times a day! I watched movies on TV most of the day, and also saw "The Amazing Race" and "Celebrity Apprentice" tonight. I'll be glad when the weather warms up some. Take care, Phyllis :)

Good morning! (well it's still before noon here) How'r yu doing? I saw yu faving here and thought I'd drop by and see how yu'r doing. The weather's turned cold up here, my parents actually had snow on Friday. I'm waiting to get some pics from her. She's as crazy as I am with the camera. When I showed her my digital camera she loved it and went out with her saved change and bought one. Now she doesn't have to wait till they come down to visit to show me her pictures. LOL It's nice and peaceful here - the cats and hubby are sleeping. Hubby fell asleep on the sofa and he's competing with Harley in a snoring contest. Harley's winning so far. Oh that's great! I'm so glad things worked out for you. I'm terrible with medicine, I've always stayed away from pills (can't swallow them), my Mom always said it was like fighting a battle to get me to take one. I would put the pill in a spoon and add warm water to get it to melt and then add a little sugar (of course) to get it down. LOL Now even just plain aspirin will knock me out. Think I'm in trouble if I have to start taking pills. LOL

I'm doing great now! I've got Tramadol for pain, and I don't have to leave the nursing home! Last week, the insurance lady said that the insurance company says that I'm too high-functioning to be in a nursing home; and they wanted me to move to an assisted-living facility. Today they told me that I don't make enough money to live in a facility--so I get to stay here! Yay! :)

Good morning Phyllis! I'm glad yu like them. I went into a Dollar Store up here and found them there. I had never noticed that store before, but I like going thru $ stores so I went in. Glad I did. LOL I was hoping I didn't pick up books that you already had. Looks like I got lucky. Well today's better than yesterday, we only have heavy winds.
