Hi! Well, the water is receding, but the rain and storms are supposed to start again. They're warning people to watch out for deadly snakes and bacteria in the water... just what we need, right?! I'm still on the antibiotic, but I can't tell much difference in my foot yet. Take care. :)

Yeah, just saw on the news that the river is ecpected to crest around 7 tonight. I hope they are wrong and it doesnt at all. I also hope the doctors are wrong, and you foot gets better. Stay on the anti-B's though, and I hope it doesnt take long to heal.

Hi, cheezfriend! Hope you are OK. Some of us went out for a bus ride to Dairy Queen and to see the high waters of Reelfoot Lake and the Mississippi River--unbelievable! That was on Wed., and the river still hasn't crested yet. We are all still packed in case we have to be evacuated. I also had to start taking an antibiotic 'cause the doctor thinks I may have an infection in my left foot. :( Take care!

Forget the delay, as long as you are safe. Hopefully the evac will pass you by along with the rising tide. Above all, keep safe. The lol's will still be here for you in case you are delayed do to bad weather.

Hi! Sorry about the delay, but we've been on high alert for evacuation since Monday; but nothing has happened yet. This is really nerve-wracking...

I have just found out about Bin Laden and I am overjoyed, yet at the same time Im not so sure. I know that he has look alikes that stay near him for just these reasons, and I am hopeing that they got the right one and did'nt jump the gun on their announcment. I am pretty sure though that they got the right one. Lots of evacs going on around here as well, luckily we arent part of them.

Hi, new cheezfriend! I heard the good news that Osama Bin Laden has been killed!!! People are celebrating in the streets! Ark., Tenn. and Miss. are still having bad weather; but we haven't been evacuated yet. Good night, Phyllis

I live in Olive Branch, Mississippi (right under Memphis Tn), so I'm not too far from ya. We have been lucky thus far and the worst that we recieved (other than TONS of rain) was our power being out for just over 8 hours. Imagine that long without lol's! Scary! I hope the floodlines recede your way soon and all is well.

Thank you, wyldwerewolf (James), for asking me to be your friend. I would be pleased to accept! I live in Tiptonville in West Tennessee. We've had so much bad weather this week, and flood waters are rising. :(
