Hi sweets, So glad you saw my note! I'm goin' in tomorrow to finish up some stuff before I leave for Charlotte. (Always movin' around lately; *sigh*). Anyway, I'm gonna try and see if I can find it there and resend. If not, bear with me. I don't want to shoot you a quickie, but I have to leave Sunday and I have a million lose ends to tie up. That said, it might be a fews days before you hear from me via Email - provided I can't find the previous one. (But I don't want you to think you haven't heard from me for any other reason than the move.) Anyway, it's very late (or early) and I've been jumpin' on & off this site again, in between laundry, etc. Should never have gone to happy hour. It's never an hour, is it? Anyway, I find it very cathartic to rattle off a few LOLz! Does wonders for the stress. BTW, where are you in FL? I've been in Jacksonville for the last three months or so. Just curious. How awesome would it be to actually meet you! HUGS~

Oh Nic, you didn't scare me! I answered your second message the day after I read it. I sent it from the office (I'm temping a few days a week for PHH Mortg.) and I wonder if it was blocked? No, I loved your letter and you could never say too much; that would be ME! I gotta tell ya, I am so impressed; you're so talented! A professor? Damn! I don't know about you, but I think that's phenomenal! You gotta be pretty intelligent to hold such a position, no? And all the other things you've done - wow! What the hell do you think would have scared me anyway? It was the nicest letter. Besides, there is nothing you could say that would; you're my friend. I don't know what happened; I have to check into this. I may have to rewrite and resend. Listen, I just jump on and off this site in between other things. No time right now, (dentist in an hour, etc.) but I will try and retrieve. I have to admit, I'm stumped. Now, it would have been a new message, not a 'reply' via Gmail, as per usual. I wrote your address in my book, knowing I'd answer from work. Hence, the Email address would be different, so check your spam folder for me, okay? I'm not even sure what the outgoing address was (PHH or admin. something. I know, what a dork). Hope you see this soon, cause it upsets me that you think I wouldn't respond. HUGS~ xxoo

Miss you, Nic. And you're breakin' my heart! Sounds like that 'stuff' has a hold of you. I know it's easier said than done, but you CAN beat it. I had to tackle my own demon. (My drug of choice was the white.) But I did it - and without an intervention or anyone's help, etc. I wish there was something I could do. Sorry to hear about your book, but it takes going through many, many publishers to find someone that'll pick it up. Of course, I'm preachin' to the choir, cuz you know a helluva lot more about that than I EVER will. I just hope you don't give up your pursuit to get published. Again, I miss you! Sending you love and hugs, friend! And don't stay away so long. BTW, I'll be on and off the site all day, as I'm out of town and away from what little family I have. It does get kinda lonely, but no biggy. I'm used to spending the holidays by myself. Well, I'm not completely alone - I have my pup Landon with me! That is so odd that you mention having one of your LOLz deleted, because the same happened to me and I thought it was one of the best I'd ever done. But I had saved a copy and now that I heard you had a deletion, I'm gonna repost mine and see what happens. (That way I can let you know what happens and maybe that will be an option for you?) I've seen some pretty raunchy LOLz (as far as being violent or risqué, etc.) and I am shocked mine got pulled. (Joke about a cat using Google to find his friends, i.e. 'pussy locator'.) I thought it was really cute actually. Does that sound harsh to you? Maybe, I guess. But then I've seen an LOL that was actually a picture of a woman's . . . well, you know. Better not type it, they might delete my message to you! I think if someone flags your LOL, a moderator probably looks at it and makes a decision. I'm probably nearing or over my 1000 limit so I better send this . . .
