Did you get my book yet?

By NCcharmer on Feb 18, 2012 at 4:26 PM

I Ed'd your message to nikki. Every day could be a new start. That, my dear lady, is all up to you.

By NCcharmer on Feb 18, 2012 at 3:53 PM

I wouldn't expect you to list them. I'd make the same mistake. I can refer them to my list of friends if they wanta know. Let them 500+ buddies keep 'em busy for awhile. All but one or two are really people I am glad to know. The others, not so much and next time I clean my list, I'll take care of it.

By NCcharmer on Feb 18, 2012 at 3:22 PM

I wouldn't and don't care what anyone calls me in jest. I have been called worse than that, but when someone is being intentionally ugly, it irks me and I'm done with them. Nikky could have called me that and I wouldn't have minded at all. And yes, she is the real thing...there are a lot of them here. You will get used to who to avoid and Nikki and I will steer you clear of some of the name callers.

By NCcharmer on Feb 18, 2012 at 2:11 PM

I heard about the conditions in the place you reside. I certainly hope it gets worked out soon. No, Nikki would never call me that...she's my buddy. All my buddies were just as offended as I was. It was someone everyone thinks butter melts in her mouth, but the other side sure showed. It was a long time ago...maybe June. I know a lot of insults and that was a new one for me.

By NCcharmer on Feb 17, 2012 at 3:45 PM

Both you and nikkadoo got my book at the same time...that's scary!!!!

By NCcharmer on Feb 16, 2012 at 9:16 PM

Have you ever seen my picture? It looks nothing like the cover picture. My Mama was ever so MUCH better loooking. My welcome mat does not have restrictions...anytime baby doll

By NCcharmer on Feb 16, 2012 at 12:53 PM

Danoz did this before he knew it was the cover of my book and before he knew I painted it. He then did another one and tucked my little avatar into the corner. http://cheezburger.com/Danoz/lolz/View/5819032576

Stores put my book in fiction, non-fiction and autobiography...they don't know what it is...**snerk, snerk**

I thought the people in my family were the most ridiculous people in the universe and I enjoyed making fun of them more than anything.

By NCcharmer on Feb 16, 2012 at 12:13 PM

I don't know if I would go so far as to call it a talent. I'm a comic and a story teller. These are stories I have told all my life. They get especially hilarious after a couple glasses of wine, you betcha. But, I decided I would wait until everybody died off to write a book so they wouldn't sue me. Sure enough they did and it was like ok. The market had tanked and I had all day to do nothing so I decided to go for it. The only way I could do it was to self publish but I figured I could work my way through that. A good friend said to have my own cover so I retained all my rights so I said ok because I particularly loved the painting I made the cover. She has my Mama's eyes. I would sit in my glass office and whip out a chapter, then I would take it to one of my staff named Paulie. She has this explosive sense of humor and I figured if I got her laughing, sober, it couldn't be too bad. So, I would put it on her desk and go back to my office, about 20 feet away. After a few minutes, I would hear her bust open and I smiled and started working on another chapter. After awhile it just began to flow. I didn't start with it, but not many books nowadays have a chapter about the author being a fetus. I did that one for fun and giggles. I am writing a whole book now about someone who was a fetus. It's pretty funny.

Ok...if you read the paperback, and you just absolutely love it, I will send you a hardback I have that was first edition for free. It is not edited but all the stories are the same. Deal?

By NCcharmer on Feb 16, 2012 at 9:39 AM

No, the $32 is for the hard back. The paper back is $21.95 plus shipping, the same I charge, but I sign them.

By NCcharmer on Feb 15, 2012 at 7:43 PM

Naw...when I got to the post office today, I found out how much more they charged for hardbacks. It was $32.00 plus postage, but I thought that was excessive even when they quoted it to me. So I upped it .28cents.

By NCcharmer on Feb 15, 2012 at 2:11 PM

Oh! $22.82 and you can send it to the address on the package.

By NCcharmer on Feb 15, 2012 at 2:09 PM

Your book is on the way!!!!

By NCcharmer on Feb 13, 2012 at 11:30 AM

What else could that cat possibly be saying!! It screamed that caption out! Thanks

By NCcharmer on Feb 12, 2012 at 12:21 PM

They aer all good lessons til it happens again and you fly off. I am a flyer-offer myself so I get it. What happens to me is my good friends on ICHC all jump on me and hold me down til I calm down. Your friends won't jump on you because you were hurt, not mad. There's a difference. But, if you get good and mad, watch out, they weigh a ton.

By NCcharmer on Feb 11, 2012 at 11:01 AM

Believe me, Pollyme, I have been called much worse!!! And by people right here on ICHC. One female called me a "shit stirrer". Laughed my ass off! I agree with nikki, you do take to hurt too quickly and see insults that aren't there...but that's a learned instinct and you learned it well. Just know who to choose and who not to. You have great friends "in your circle" right now and you can rest assured we are not going to pick on you. Unless you asked for it and then it will be in good fun. If we aren't sure of something, we'll ask before we assume you mean harm. That's how it works. Oh, and give them time to answer. I know it's hard when you are all worked up, but this isn't a telephone and we aren't online. Getting the email right will be a big help because there you can rant and rave and everybody doesn't see it. I do it often, just ask around. Muahahahaha!!

By NCcharmer on Feb 10, 2012 at 5:53 PM

Oh, and all of the books bought from me (cheaper) get a signed copy...wouldn't think of not signing it. You're my peeps

By NCcharmer on Feb 10, 2012 at 3:57 PM

The hardbacks I have are not the first editions but they are the correct edited editions. They cost a little more, but not much. You can get my address from Linda...that way I don't have to put it on line. Let's just say 28.00 even

By NCcharmer on Feb 10, 2012 at 12:58 PM

Alll you have to do is either send me the address where I can send it. You can keep that private by sending it to sunny@clis.com, my email. If you have a friend, it can go to them. I know you are very private. It doesn't have to be your address, just a way for you to get it. You don't have to pay for it until you get it.

By NCcharmer on Feb 10, 2012 at 9:47 AM

You can send me the wrong message anytime. I don't get a chance to find out what Pollyme, Marmie and the crowd is doing that often so it was a great mistake to make.

By NCcharmer on Feb 9, 2012 at 6:23 PM

That's okay. I am kinda ancient myself!!

By NCcharmer on Feb 4, 2012 at 11:31 AM

Bakatcha...schmooooooch! I am not and will never be too busy for my friends. I read and answewr all my messages before I immerse myself in the collectibles. And I surface every now and then to check them. Do not feel you can't chat with me because of them. They are a side issue compared to my compadres.

By NCcharmer on Feb 4, 2012 at 11:16 AM

And I will join your list of growing friends when I can work myself through these collectibles and have time to be just a buddy again.
