Sorry to hear your news - I had not heard before. However much expected, someone's passing is always a shock. I know what you mean about Eltham, but it is better than Hither Green.... I had a quiet Christmas with my son - can't really push the boat out much as I have diabetes but it was good to have his company for a few days. I keep reasonably well apart from the aches and pains of increasing years! Best wishes to you for 2009 - let's hope things start to look up.
