Just posted this on the sofa for you! "Not a drinker of whiskeys myself, but I know my Dad always has a bottle of Crown Royal in the house, and for rye whiskey, he goes with the Canadian Club." Now apparently, there's Rye whiskey and Whiskey whiskey. They taste different. All I know is I can't stand the stuff myself. I'm into girly-girl drinks, back when I could drink. Just an update: took in the translations last night to the hospital. Paula's duty nurse took one look at them, her eyes lit up and she said, "This is awesome!" The paper is now in a protective cover, posted over her bed so that whoever her nurse is can communicate with her. So again, on behalf of the Peterborough Regional Community Hospital, Danke, danke, danke!!!

You are awesome! The big things seem to be her medicine and moving her to change her or get her in her sling to put her in her wheelchair. I think the big ones are as follows. 1) This is for your pain. 2) Please roll to your left/right. 3) We need to change your dressing (bandage). Those are the ones that seem to be the most vital. If I have the translations, I can print them out and put them on her whiteboard over her bed so the nurses know what to say. Danke!

Hello, Mirage! How is December shaping up? We've got some weird weather happening here. A week ago it was -7 C and tomorrow, they're predicting +12! I'm wondering if you can give me a hand. My mom's room mate in the hospital is a 91 year old German lady who sometimes can't understand what the nurses are asking her or telling her. If I speak to her in my very limited German, she seems to calm down. Would you mind translating a few praises that could help us all out? While she has family, they are all either in Thunder Bay ( two days driving from here) or Florida at the moment and don't visit very often.

Thank you for uploading the Marten on the Loose video. I saw the footage yesterday on Youtube and laughed my ass off. Someone who does not understand The Beautiful Game was suggesting that releasing martens onto the field when the game gets dull would probably improve viewership. Hope your Monday's gone well!
