I got to admit the weather hasn't been too bad here this last month, although the long range forecast predicted the longest and coldest on records for the winter, I'm glad to say there has been no sign of it yet (fingers crossed lol)...Glad to gear your mom is stable, and hope you all have a lovely christmas.

Well, if I know one thing about Southern England and Wales this year, you've gotten more than enough rain and are due for a break! On this end, things are going...okay. We're planning our Christmas around Mom being in the hospital. I'm decorating Dad's tree this weekend and planning Christmas day dinner with my sister. I haven't started my baking yet! But Mom s stable, and as long as she's not getting worse, we're okay with that. I even took some decorations up to brighten up her hospital room.

Hey, luv. See you're trying to hang out on the sofa today. What I do is open a second tab on my computer and use it to do all my Sofa antics.For one thing, it does cut down on trying to access it constantly from your DB to keep up with the monkey business. Maybe that will help? Hope everything else is going well with you.

I have beaten the cold into submission! Dad and I are only spending 3 hrs a day at the hospital, each, in order to make sure that Mom gets her meals okay and has some companionship. This week's been a little crazy for me because I'm working part time for a teacher who is away on a canoeing trip. (Welcome to the Ontario school system!!) so the money's good and the kids... well, they try. But we're getting by and have some good friends stepping in where needed. HAve a great day!

Thanks, love. I'm trying to make sure I get my sleep and have some down time. I'm just getting over my first cold of the school year and had to visit Mom with a mask on for several days! I'm also trying to make sure Dad's taken care of, and he's got tomorrow "off". Hope you're enjoying your autumn!

Am soo glad to hear this...We are expecting storms here at the weekend, but don't know yet, if it is going to cool down after or not...I am hoping all goes well for William n Kate and the baby naturally, but have not been gripped by it myself, as much as many people seem to have been, especially those who have been using it to advertise their sites lol

Yay! The heat broke on Friday night. We had a wave of severe storms roll through that dropped the temperatures. I was at my friend's farm and on Sunday morning we were all gleefully discussing the fact all of us were cold during the night. The apartment has cooled down drastically as well. So, I'm gonna live! I hear Kate Middleton's in labour at last. That'll be exciting over there. Unless you never caught Royal Baby Fever.

It must be almost unbearable for you with the heat...hope you have plenty of fans going, n drinking plenty of cold drinks as we have been told to..although it is very hot here it's probably much hotter where you are, I mentioned My Family..because it is such a funny series based in Britain,and thought you might enjoy some light humour at this time...do take good care of your self and your mum, and I hope the weather cools down there soon.

I haven't seen My Family, and I'll check if it's on Netflix. I know it was run on PBS at one point. I'm currently watching "The IT Crowd". A friend who is in computers recommended it and the first two episodes had me almost on the floor! Going through a heat wave here so I haven't been on very much. My office is so hot you can thaw meat in here! Hope the temperatures over there are more bearable!

Hello! I'm back after a bit of a forced absence. Mom was admitted to hospital in June and being the only daughter who lives in town (and walking distance to the hospital) I was spending a lot of time looking after her and Dad. But she's home now and I'm able to do something besides collapse with fatigue. Have been enjoying Torchwood on Netflix! I saw it all when it was on television, but it was fun escapism while Mom was sick. Hope all's well with you!
