You are lucky not to have so much of a tornado threat, I think I had much rather have snow which is rare here. The weather has not been very predictable around here this year.

Our "Tornado Season" doesn't start for two more months and even then, we seldom get hit. (Pauses to knock on wood!) I'm in a fairly safe part of the province. We do get bad thunderstorms which knock down trees and such, and if I lived near a river right now, I'd need a boat to check my mail box. Still, it's worth the six months of snow to know that my apartment building isn't going to be moving while I'm at work!

It makes me very happy that you enjoyed the pictures of my flowers and it would make me even happier for you to use them in any way you wish. Thank you so much for posting those beautiful pictures of your flowers! I have been keeping an eye open for pictures to print off and put up in Mom's new room at the hospital. She's in the transitional ward between medical and moving to an actual nursing home, so she's allowed to put a "personal touch" to the place. She's always been a gardener (born a farm girl!) and loves pictures of flowers. Hope you don't mind me using these two. Have a great night and stay safe with all this wacky weather going around.

You would know if I came back as one of your cats because 1) I'd be the one sneezing all the time and 2) I'd be throwing up after all fish-based foods. My friends' late cat, Sebastian, couldn't eat chicken-based noms. No troubles with birdies or yoghurts, but no chicken! And congratulations on the new baby in the family! Now you have someone special to share the day with!

Thank you safrida, all my cats were broke today but they managed to hack up a few hairballs.What a compliment it is for you to want to come back as one of my cats..if you came back as one of my cats how would I know it was you so I would be sure to give you extra treats? I had a special day because a new great Grandaughter was born this afternoon!

Well, my fingers are crossed for Missy. Hopefully, the surgery will do the trick. And considering how tight the choreography is for your cats in those videos, they really need her, too! Thanks for sending that-- had me stifling the laughter at 1:30 a.m.!!

My vet said my options are to try her on meds which don't always work, do some type of radioactive iodine treatment which is VERY expensive, or remove her thyroid which means she will have to take meds for the rest of her life. He recommends doing the surgery which is probably what I will do since I trust his judgement and have for approx 35 years. I love my little Missy Face :)

Hey, Millie. I'm sorry to hear about Missy's health problem. Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't thyroid problems be fixed with some meds? I'm so glad you enjoyed my flower photos. It is odd but I used to have the "black thumb!" My Mother could grow anything and would take my dead flowers and bring them back to life. She has been deceased almost 20 years and ever since she died I have a green thumb..I like to think she passed it on to me. You have a great rest of the week also. Millie
