Hi! My favorite is cats. They are loving, affectionate, they don't need to be walked and they don't bark. They are quiet, calm animals. Of all the pets I've had the one I disliked the most was a bird. Don't get me wrong, I love birds. I had several parakeets and they were nice birds. I had one bird though that was down right mean. It was a pocket parrot. It was vicious. It bit every time you tried to touch it. It was on my shoulder one day and it started biting my face. It was like the movie The Birds. It just bit & bit screeching the whole time. My husband finally got a hold of it and put it back into the cage. The next day we took it to a local pet store. They kept it, by itself. It didn't even get along with other birds. I also was never too fond of my brother's lizards when we were little. I couldn't imagine life without pets!

Hi! You're welcome! Yes, when I was a child, I'd say about 10 or so, I had 2 goats. My aunt lived on a farm. She gave them to me. They were cute and fun to have. I was around all kinds of animals all my life. Cows, pigs, horses, chickens, & turkey are just a few of the animals I had while growing up. Of course I had the dogs & cats too. I am just an all around animal lover. Have a great week! ttyl

Hi! Pet rats. A friend showed up tonight with 4 baby rats, he knows I can't say no. When he called & asked if he could stop in for a while, I had no idea he had just come from the pet store. He gave me a hairless rat, a brown one, a brown & white one and a grey one. I have one big problem now though. With my other rats and the new rats I have 8 males. Now I also have a female, total 9. I don't want to have any baby rats so I'm going out to get another female so when I separate her from the males, she will have a playmate. My husband thinks I'm totally crazy! I just can't say no when it comes to giving an animal a home. The friend that brought the rats tonight is also the person I got my other rats from.
