there are websites that will turn youtube clips into videos the most popular being http://www.gifsoup.com/ ... the quality's not that great but you can crop gifs and add text and such over at http://www.blibs.com/editor/ ... there's also a free animation package available at http://www.gimp.org/ it's a little bit complicated but produces much higher quality gifs ... the only drag with gimp is that you actually have to download the videos
