Hi, I'm going through my "Friends" list and trimming inactives, people with no interaction, etc. This is not the least bit personal, it's just to keep from being overwhelmed...hope you understand. Thanks.

But I gotta tell you, it's not just teen angst. The political nonsense among adults is also annoying, whether I agree or not. The SN "cats uber alles" literally means "cats over everything"; for me it's to the exclusion of everything else. ICHC is supposed to be fun. Teen angst & political angst aren't fun.

Aside: I used to friend-request all who favorited my lols. I did so indiscriminately, not knowing how ICHC works, that everyone's profile is played [out] over every one else's. .... A little wiser now, I no longer send requests. [Haven't since 20 Aug 09.] Ergo, in fairness, my "friend list pruning" has begun with those who have issued a request _to_ me.
