That's the concept behind the POMC organization. I'm a contact person for them. We all have lost someone to violence. If you come across someone that needs help send them to http://www.pomc.com and they'll get them matched up with a contact person near them. They're based in Ohio and it was started by a couple that lost their daughter.

My maiden name was Elrod, I would trade with you. Try blending in with that one...Tierod, Hotrod, Pushrod, Tightwad, ect. It wasn't so bad, lol

Down here if your last name is Friend, you're kin to all the others! There's a town somewhere in Pennsylvania that has a Friend Family Library or something. When I first started working on my family tree, I kept coming across them. Of course if you want to blend in it's not a good name for that! LOL

Yep, it really was... in fact, you know how they used to put your first initial and last name in the pocket of your Letter Jackets in school... all my pockets had "A Friend" since my first name is Angie! LOL It was cool, but a hard name to live up to!

I am happy to say Cuz's lab report was great! Doc said everything was perfect. He is eating better since I gave him Cat Lax twice a day and he threw up a BIG hairball. If he gets worse he will do xrays and a sonogram. Thanks for caring, Millie

You know we'll keep the prayers going up! Our kittehs are worth more than gold to us! I could use some prayers for tomorrow too. I've got to face the Parole Board and convince them that the only 1 of the 4 boys that killed Mom and Dad that will ever come up for parole, needs to stay in prison. (They've already written 40yrs off his sentence for good behavior)! I've gotten my speech written and everything ready, just really dread this!

I took Cuz to the Vet today, he said the small lump was a lipoma and that sure was a relief. He did a senior wellness exam with blood work. I will find out about the results tomorrow. Keep him in your prayers. Millie

If you decide to get one, go for the beige or grey.... not the black one. I have a black one and a beige one. The black one is as bad as a black car as far as cleaning the outside. It gets a whitish film on it when I wash it and I have to use something like Olive Oil to make it go away.

I'll definitely be praying for a good report from the vet. I'm sure you won't get too much sleep tonight... when one of mine are ill, I never do. I uploaded a pic of Buster coming out of the Litter Robot. You never have to touch the litter again. It looks like a space ship. When they go inside, they trigger a timer that is connected to the step. 7 minutes after they activate it, the entire globe rotates, sifts the litter, and dumps the clumps into a drawer beneath it. No special bags or filters, i just use a 13 gallon trash bag in the drawer. When it's full, you just change the bag. I use Glad ForceFlex drawstrings.. they're sturdy enough to hold together and with the drawstrings I just tie it and throw it away. To do a heavy cleaning, you just take the globe and either put it in the shower or use a water hose...

The Litter-Robot can be bought on their website. www.litter-robot.com They're not sold in stores. They're not cheap but the money they've saved me over the last 6yrs and the "no more scooping" has made up for it. They also take care of their customers. One of mine needed the motor replaced a few months back and when they called me to let me know what they did, they had basically replaced everything in the base plus the motor. (the electronic control panel, bumpers, everything) and didn't charge me any extra! If you decide to go that route I've got a code that will get you 10% off. It's TENPERCENTOKW

They thought you were their mama. It is so easy to bond with them when you bottle feed them, I would set my alarm every 3 hours to get up and feed them. Your Daughter sounds like my niece, she found a tiny kitten and bottle fed it. She called me to find out how to make them go to the bathroom. I explained step by step and all she could say was WHAT?
