Hey dear, That sounds about like what I was thinking. You should be on the right track now.. and one less thing to worry about! ((HUGZ))

I'm doing great here. Kid monsters are well too. Those are some long hours there my dear... yuck, but in this day and time.. having a job is a blessing right? BTW.. questions from friends don't bug me at all.. I have had such great training and teachers, that answers come almost like instinct now. Besides, I know what it's like when the shoe is on the other foot. Some docs won't (or can't) explain things very well. I always try to take that extra few minutes and make sure folks have a good mental picture of what's going on.

...either way, some anti inflammatory drops will help. They will likely give those to you at your next visit. I know they are scary looking (isn't anything on your eye). If they do/have resected a larger area (2-3mm) ou will likely also have a little blood under the conj as well. I only mention this because it is also scary looking and again is normal and nothing to worry about. It will absorb in about a week.

Hi Tiggeez, nice to hear from ya. Those lymph cysts are kinda common and nothing much to worry about. I am assuming it is clear, fluid-filled and on the conjunctiva of the eye kinda looks like a little blister. They usually go away on their own in a few weeks.. and when drained usually pop right back up in a few days. If it keeps happening in the exact same spot, a larger size area of the conj needs to be resected to give a "fresh start" in hopes of no recurrence. The itching can be due to the healing process if they already resected a larger area, or most people that have them are more sensitive to allergies etc also.

I have to remove metal from eyes every week. I'm a little more subtle in my manner when that happens. More like a dentist I guess, I keep the instruments to the side and behind the patient.. administer the numbing drops ASAP and if there is rust that must be cleaned out, I tell the patient that "I need to clean the injury with a special tool and that they may feel or hear a small humming sound" The "drill" is actually a micro burr called an Alger Brush. I have also developed the skill of keeping a conversation going while I'm working so that usually I'm done before the patient even realizes it. My hopes for a quick recovery!!
