The Barron Gorge was flooded today so I took the new Digital SLR and fired off a few shots. I added them to my 'flickr' pages, so feel free to head on over and take a look. Jim.

I've taken a shot or two at Vista (we got a separate computer (laptop) for recording the house antigues and to use to put stuff on E-Bay for selling) and as far as I can understand it...I don't understand it. My Mac is so much easier and even though software and hard ware tend to be more expansive, there's no point in having a computer to do stuff (ex: graphics) on if you can't do stuff on it. I'll keep Mac as my main-use system and do the 'more serious' stuff on the pc.

And when Pug's shoulder hits poor Harvey, Harvey bounces off. He's not hurt but I worry. Pug's about 20 pounds and Harvey weighs less than half that and has stick thin legs. When she gets too careless, he does tell her off, no teeth or not, but it seems to go in one ear and out of Pug's mind. I know what you mean about computer problems. I use a Mac and Talina has a pc and HATES Vista. My ex is a computer teck that did Mac, Sun And Linux, but he's in Colorado with his new wife. He tries to talk me through some of it but, there's times when I've screwed it up so bad it needs hands on. Right now, it loads very slow and drives me nuts (well, make that more nuts).

Thank you, you're sweet. Most people see me and say' oh, god, not her again' (not really, but thats what I think when I look back at what I've written). I know what you say about the dashing around. We call it 'the rips' and it's bad enough when the cats get into it. When Pug does, she looses all sense and forgets that there's not a lot of traction on hardwood floors (150 year old recycled flooring from a house someone was taking down) so when she hits the couch, she HITS the couch. Say about an inch or so lower than what she had in mind? She bounces off, picks herself up off the floor, shakes herself and cops one of the cats attitudes: 'I meant to do that'. Harvey's not much for jumping or running with the pack. He knows that the direction it's going can change without any turn signals at all. He just hunches down and lets everyone past overhead. The cats don't run him over that much, but he learned a long time ago that Pug will and not even notice! And when Pug's should

Harvey was trying to chase all of them at the same time. By the way, in case you haven't noticed, I tend to ramble on bit. I'll close so you can get done with this message and maybe go onto others. Bye ;~D

that doesn't mean he has no jaw-strength. I didn't do it quite right one time and he nailed my pinkie about four times before I could shift my hold. If he'd had any teeth at all, I'd have really been hurting. As it is, I have some numbness/ tingling in my little finger and along the edge of my hand below it. Not the first time something like this has happened so I'm not too worried about it. Had a dog bite me between the ring and middle finger of my left hand. Had the same effect for about 8 months and got over it fine. He plays with us a little bit now (boy, is he fierce!) and even chases 'Tinkerbells' like a cat. We found that one out when he suddenly started racing around and barking and growling. We had no idea what was going on because no one else was involved in it. As it turned out, the sun was passing through some crystals on one of the oil lamps (all Victorian antiques) and there was a multitude of 'Tinkerbells' on the floor. Harvey was trying to chase all of

Harvey's still pretty people shy and isn't that keen on having someone pick him up (unless he's rolled over onto his back and picked up baby-fashion). He startles sometimes and just because he has no teeth that doesn't mean he has no jaw-strength. Let me put it this way, she was (is) an over-weight b---- who looks out for No:1 and has no business having a dog. I find the fact she has a kid now is scary as hell. You've heard of the 'me' generation? Well, as far as I'm concerned, she is a member of the "me! Me! ME!' generation. I could try and work at the local shelter, but it'd be a very BBBBAAAADDD idea! My sister would kill me if I brought every dog/cat/whatever home and I'd be heart-broken because I couldn't. Better that I only visit...less temptation. I was lucky with Harvey. Ta didn't care much for Shoe-wowwows,(all she'd known were yappy or snappy) but she couldn't refuse to foster him the first time she saw him. He was so pitiful. The fostering went on, then a little bit more then... you get the picture. Harvey's still pretty people shy and isn't that keen on having someone pick him up (unless he's rolled over onto his back and picked up baby-fashion).
