Almost ALWAYS after a Windows update! I did delete a bunch of temporary files. Maybe it will have an effect. I discovered a page I had printed on how to do this, so I did it. I also bought an external hard drive to put lots of my photos on, so I'm also planning on doing that. I had to delete about 1000 pics afte I discovered my computer was "red-lined" in the memory dept. I also got Firefox, because I was really sick of seeing "Internet Explorer provided by Yahoo" (Not Responding). It's so much faster! Thanx for your input-Marti

May I ask you a technical question? Can you think of any reason why a computer (specifically mine) should freeze up after updates with remarkable reliability? Windows update, AVG update. My scanners (AVG, Security Solutions for virus, PC Tools Spyware Doctor and Registry Mechanic) say my computer is clean. All have been run within the last few days. It almost always freezes after a Windows update. WTF?

We have XP at work, but it's also company software, so it's a lot different than having your own. I've only owned 1 computer, and it came with Vista on it. It also came with a disk of extra software, some games, Image Broadway (a photoshop alternative) Professor Teaches Windows Vista (the BEST extra), etc etc etc. I've never used anything else.

I have something called *TurboBackup Personal* which I have never addressed. Does it need to use discs, or does my system have its own backup? I have an Acer laptop, only about 1 1/2 yrs old and it has 2GB ram. I have Vista.

I'm afrais I would have to have someone do that for me. When i first got it the OS had been installed incorrectly, and I had to take it to the vet. Worth it tho. What did you do to it?

I was worried that there might be SOMETHING SUDDENLY WRONG with my computer-however everything else is working okay-just the Upcoming. i can make lols, do messages, bounce around profiles and go to the homepage- but no upcoming. I'm about ready to call it a night also. Must peek at the lol-collector to see if anyone has added any more snoeblols.

Valentine's Day is definitely the next holiday, but kitty valentines are usually too cutesy. We should make some (more Mature?) valentines. Question-are you having any trouble with this site tonite? I can't get Upcoming to work-it freezes up on the 2nd page (3 times) and then I couldn't get it to move off the 1st pg.

Maybe we should stick to the green beer, although sometimes they get into colors on their own. One of my kittens waked through a roomates paint pallette and left blue foot prints on her rug. For this we named him Pedis Bluefoot. Turned out to be prophetic-he had to have the toes on his back right foot amputated-poor Pedis.
