Both. I like to hide, slash stuff, blow up stuff, button mash to blow up stuff, button mash to slash stuff, button mash to blow up things I've slashed and button mashed, mess with enemy AI, and make decisions. I see the dating sim part of RPG as "SAY THIS TO GET THIS" or like an easy multiple choice test.
