It's a thrill the first time someone likes your work enough to buy it isn't it? What I like about glass is that it is fairly instant gratification compared to most crafts. I wish I could have tried different forms but I got locked into making a living from my work & didn't have time to experiment.

Being in healthcare, I don't get to use the 'I can't get in to work' excuse like a lot of people I know will. Not to mention my boss has 4-wheel drive & would come taxi me around if I needed him. LOL! He asked me y'day to try to get out of my complex & if I couldn't, he'd come get me. I was able to get out, but I wouldn't DARE try to go home & then have to come right back out this afternoon. With any luck, the DOT will start doing something constructive besides on the @#$% interstate today......*grin* Stay warm & I hope you get the maximum enjoyment with the least amount of hassles!! ;)
