Thx!. Ur just subconsciously lapsing into LOLspeak :) My posts are often a mix of both. Saw ED on Back in Black - she has an awesome voice but totally messed up personal life which I commented on in an LOL :) Hope she gets it together otherwise, what a waste of talent.

We got about 6 inches in some areas....my neighborhood got about 8 & my dd's friend about 4 miles away had about 15!! Of course, the DOT is working on the interstate......nevermind the neighborhood & secondary roads need to be cleared so they can GET to the freakin' interstate. *steems* I hope y'all don't get hammered too bad!! I'm just staying at my lady's house today ~ rather than fight to get back to my house & have to come back again at 4. With any luck, the DOT or the city will have our roads cleared tomorrow.

LOL at your boy and the greyhound story!! Some how it reminds me that I knew an idiot human who was convinced all ballet dancers both male and female fancied big husky men. Not sure I ever understood that. ?????

Ohai! Things here get a little better every day. My sprained ankle is slowly healing, we're unpacking in our new house, and my cat Jay is doing better on his new medication. I hope all is going well with you. :)

Yeah, a couple of peeps have been e-mailing them about the histy issue and how they select LOLs asnd how many for the voting page. They post new ones late in the afternoon so I'm going to see what and how many they post and then e-mail them again.

Looked at some of your histies and liked them! It's just very, very difficult to get one up on the voting page. But keep perservering - they pretty much select them randomly apparently so hopefully one of yours will make it there.

Yes, lots of lovely Mals and other spitz breeds cannot read the body languauge of flat-faced, drop-eared, curly tailed dogs. Pugs also have their eyes in the front of their heads and not on the sides so sometimes other breeds interpret a Pug just looking at them as a challenge stare - I always say that Pugs just don't speak Dog! The spitz breeds tend to speak quite pure Dog and so there is room for a lot of misunderstanding. We humans must interpret carefully between them!

It WILL be a lot of fun! We've been having it every year for the past 3 years. We just make lolz of animals & stuff in the snow.....you've seen a lot of the preliminary lolz.....they'll stay pretty much in the same vein. We're having it a little later than we have the other years, but this year has been too busy for everyone.

I used to live in a country area as well in Texas and people were always dumping their pets. We always left food out for them and turned them over to various rescue centers since our "humane" society would keep them a couple of weeks and put them down. One of our friends here has a Malmute rescue dog and is one of the sweetest (but huge) dogs I've been around. She shaved him during the summer and he almost looked embarresed when people payed attention to him! I've never really been a "gog" person, but animals, wild or domestic hold a special place in my heart.

Thks! I've always looked at it this way, anyone can pay a fee and adopt a pet, but most rescue animals need a bit more care and we hoomans need to regain their trust. Faye was left homeless after one of the hurricanes. It's taken a bit to let her know she's loved and now she acts like a puppy, follows us everywhere and snuggles at night. You can't even move her over when it gets hot, she just scoots back over until she's laying against you again. Thanks for being my friend!
