If You Don't Mind, J.K. Rowling Would Appreciate You Not Bringing Up Her Death All The Time, Thank You Very Much
This might be hard to believe, but people, even famous authors, generally don’t like discussing their own demise. I know it sounds crazy. J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter books is no exception. She just doesn’t like people romanticizing her death. It’s weird, sure. However, she’s entitled to her opinion.
This meme going around has different ideas in mind. They think it’s fun to imagine Rowling’s final day. The author does not. So if you don’t mind, please stop talking about her death. Thanks!
It's just kind of rude.
Please stop threatening Ms. Rowling.
that came out much more threatening than intended...— Rosianna Halse Rojas (@papertimelady) February 7, 2017
Come on, dude.
we've got your obit on file, if you want a read...— David Clegg (@davieclegg) February 7, 2017
Some sort of time turner-related mishap I'm sure.
You're alright, David, I know what happened. I was there.— J.K. Rowling (@jk_rowling) February 7, 2017
I really, really don't like thinking about this. It's making me uncomfortable. 😳— Ardit Haliti (@ardit_haliti) February 8, 2017
