Members of Anonymous have declared a new war against the Westboro Baptist Church over the weekend, after the quasi-religious group's leaders announced plans to hold a protest and "sing praise to God for the glory of his work in executing his judgment" during a vigil in remembrance of the Sandy Hook elementary school victims. As part of the campaign dubbed #OpWestBor, Anonymous released a video communique vowing to render the group obsolete, along with a list of personally identifiable data allegedly belonging to Westboro members via Pastebin, which contained at least a dozen names, street addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
