Sorry to hear of your family's loss. I've had occasion to ponder funeral music from time to time; and if I were to specify my own right now, I'd ask for "I'll Be Seeing You" (maybe the Jimmy Durante recording? or Judy Collins? or Jo Stafford?) and "We'll Meet Again" (Vera Lynn, of course). I must confess a sneaky respect for the decedent who specified the Ying Tong Song, though!
Sixty five is starting to sound so young. My condolences to your brother and family. Sure do know about the stiffness but it could be much worse. We go to a class called Feldenkrais that helps a lot with staying flexible and painfree. I am having some other issues that are dragging me down some. Nothing anyone really wants to know about. Weather is good, at least not miserably cold like you've had recently. The negative on that is that we badly need rain.
Ohai. It just occurred to me that your birfday is coming up pretty soonly and I better rush to wish you the best while I'm thinking on it and don't forget. My mind is like a sieve. Thought of you recently when I saw a localish(S. Francisco) newsman in London checking out preparations for the Olympics. Hope you're doing ok.

Dear Annipuss, my sincerest sympathies on the death of your SIL. Doesn't matter if we know it will happen it still hurts when it does. Memories are the best way to give her to the future.
