We have had a lot of rain lately here. just planted some trees so it is welcome. I think my maternal grandparents lived in OK city for a while, seems at least one of my aunts or uncles was born there. As I said I hope to get there one of these days just to see the country I have heard so much about.

Howdy to you, cheezfriend! I have been fortunate in my life and have had some wonderful adventures and some truly rich memories. I miss the flying part the most. The firefighting, medical emergencies and accidents were stressful and I watched too many people die, but it was a good and useful life. What part of OK are you in? My mother was born and raised in the Northeast corner in a place called Pawhuska, and moved west during the dustbowl era. I have a racing pilot friend who lives in/near Tulsa. I myself have never been to OK but may get around to it one of these days. Hope your day is going well. The Shadow
