We're right in the middle of Appalachian - "Mountain Music" country. I don't play the banjo, but our younger son does & after they were married his wife added "mountain fiddle" to her classical violin training. ;-p They live in the NW USA, but if they can help you (via me) w. any lyrics & arrangements, just let me know. I'm at the very beginning of learning Mountain Dulcimer playing. Oh, yes, our other NW d-i-l plays the mandolin. Older son tried guitar, but gave up. Younger d-i-l now plays in a group as a fiddler, while still teaching violin to students & our 3 yr. old grandson. He also gets out a gift ukelele when his papa gets out his banjo.

Thanks he is cute. Rocky is a small maine Coon. He loves window time. I found him in a parking lot when he was 6 months old 5 1/2 years ago. He would love to be an outdoor kitty. Rocky hugs Sandy

Hi Mike sounds very promising. Paws crossed for you. Actually this winter was one of the mildest I've seen. One moderate blizzard and a few small snows just enough to make driving interesting. We are having a few cold nights but temps keep going up and down. When its 50 everyone is very happy. Lived here all my life but the last few years I really cant stand snow. Its pretty to watch but thats it. I have a picture of Rocky sitting in a window watching a blizzard. Check it out. Kitty hugs Sandy

Hi Mike Hear anymore about your book. How are you feeling. I know sometimes you are in a lot of pain. Does the weather affect your pain. I have really bad arthritis and this past weeks weather wrecked havoc with me. After tomorrows storm i should strat to feel better. Kitty hugs Sandy
