Ohai! An fankees foar chekking awn dat. Ai did tuu. Unfoarchoonatlee ... Ok, I'm gonna skip the LOLspeak for a bit ... The OSPCA only has two clinics where they offer this - Barrie and Newmarket. Newmarket is the closest, but is still about 2 hours from here, here being St. Catharines. I'd also have to have the cat(s) on their doorstep for 7am, and pick them up right at 5pm. I've asked friends with cars (I don't drive), and there's no one who can take a day off work or family or whatever and spend from 4:30am to 7pm (or later) getting-to/standing-around-in/getting-back-from Newmarket. By the time we added up the costs in gas and time, it all comes out to about the same cost as finding the cheapest vet here in town - the OSPCA also adds on the cost of immunization shots, which they'd both have to have anyway. I had high hopes for the OSPCA, too, until the people/time/costs complications arose. Bless you for helping! I'll keep you posted!
