This could potentially divide folks. On the one hand, you've got plenty of customers looking to save a dime that also don't really care about the quality of a meal, as long as it's edible, and would gladly eat the extra food being offered to them. On the flip side, if restaurants let customers just reject pricey meals, offer them to friends, and then get another free meal in the process, that could really add up for the restaurants.
It stands to reason that if he is going to keep both steaks, then they should have to pay for both of them. You don't get to have your (steak) and eat it too. If the steak wasn't good enough to be eaten by him than it shouldn't be eaten by anyone in his party; Again, unless they're paying for both steaks. Sounds like some rich-entitled douchebaggery to me. You be the judge, though. Was this restaurant in the wrong, or was their decision totally reasonable?
