Viral Tweets Defending How Awesome Cats Are

Cats are awesome. Period. Inarguable. Anyone who truly hates on cats has obviously never actually hung out with one. And twitter has decided that it is time for all of us - cat ladies and gentlemen - to assemble and defend out little felines... you know, those felines who totally didn't rip your curtain or step on your sandwich earlier. It's time! We must defend them.

People misunderstand cats, that's the obvious explanation for all the cat hate. Cats simply love and show affection differently, and the people who don't bother learning the way cats show love think that cats are cold-hearted. To us, cat lovers, cats being loving is a mere fact that needs no explanation, so of course, we'll defend them when we are needed.

Do you really need any more reason than that? They have paws, dude. They have murdermittens- uh, I mean, they have fluffy adorable paws of joy that do not do any harm to any being ever, and they totally do not use there paws to knock all your valuables off your shelf.

Exactly, cats tell you what they need from you better than most animals. All you have to do is listen, give them time, and respect the boundaries that they set. They will come to you when they are ready, and when they do, nothing will make you happier than getting their love.
