Font - ruciful 25 days ago My mom said that when I was four and didn't know English, I would walk up to strangers and try to start gibberish conversations with them since they didn't speak my native language. I guess I thought they were just speaking gibberish. 2 Reply Give Award Share Report Save

Reddit user u/calathea1 asked the women of Reddit to expose some of the embarrassing things they did or believed as kids. It's really funny to think about the processes behind our choices when we were little. Did we question ourselves as much? Did we actually have more confidence back then? Just some food for thought. Let's see if you can relate to any of these innocent experiences.

Font - CatrionaShadowleaf 25 days ago I called 911 to ask if I could make toast. My mom was sick, my dad was a police officer, and I wasn't allowed to cook unless I had permission. They always tell you to call 911 if you need a policeman, right? Anyway, once she said "emergency" I hung up in terror. They called back of course, my mom eventually answered, and now it's a family story. 17 Reply Give Award Share Report Save

See! There is total logic in this silly mistake. This is what I'm talking about. How in the world are children supposed to learn things if they don't make such hilarious mistakes. Full disclosure, I called the cops too when I was young, just to see what all of the hype was about. It didn't end so well, even though I hung up straight away, they showed at my house anyway... Well, I lived and I learned!

Font - eppydeservedbetter 25 days ago I had a bit of a fascination with death, and I liked to play funerals with my dolls. I'd never attended a funeral, nor had I lost a close relative or friend, so I don't know why I was so fixated on death as a toddler - maybe my grandma letting me play horror video games was a big part. Thanks, nana! I used to put my dolls in 'coffins', which were socks, and bury them in my sock drawer. Once, I did actually bury a couple in the garden, and we found them years

Font - Not_Jess369 25 days ago At around age 5, I guess I found out what naked adults look like, somehow. I then decided to draw some pictures of what I had learnt and proudly gifted them to my parents. They kept a lot of my artworks but I haven't seen this one anywhere since... Font - BelleInBinary 25 days ago I was probably 6/7 years old and accidentally ratted my uncle out. I told his wife that he always talked to female strangers when she wasn't around, and that he lied to a lady that he was single. At the time my uncle and his wife didn't have any kids, so I spent a lot of time with them. I remember his wife was braiding my hair and she was just like 'Oh, is that right sweetie? Your uncle is just friendly.' Many many years later my mom told me that after they dropp

Font - shockolat19 24 days ago I used to love experiment baking. I'd be so so proud of it that mother would make her partner eat it (often it was completely my awful and basically everything I could find in the kitchen) 1 Reply Give Award Share Report Save

Font - LanieBorne 24 days ago I tried to convince my friend group that they had super powers. I was new to the school, and wanted desperately to make friends. Still kept one of them and she's now my best friend lol but that was embarrassing Reply Give Award Share Report Save
