People Admit Times They Were Completely Oblivious To Someone Flirting With Them

Flirting is clearly a skill. Some people excel at it, and some of us prefer to just make people fall in love with us slowly by having them get used to our awkwardness. It might sound ridiculous, but you'd be surprised at how often this tactic can work. Another skill though that we don't talk about enough is the ability to tell if someone is flirting with you. Sometimes our confidence is so iffy that we can't possibly imagine someone is actually coming onto us, and then it leads to a lot of missed opportunities.

It was Reddit user u/yjacketcbr600 who asked people to share times they missed obvious hints that someone was trying to hit on them. Apparently, a lot of people have missed out on a lot of precious opportunities. Over 4.4k had stories to share in a few hours.

I can understand how somebody would not be able to see the obvious flirting in this situation. It is possible that this girl was just interested in studying... but once she mentioned 'dinner and everything,' I mean, It's clear she was trying to get it.
Though I think it's better to not realize someone is flirting with you than to assume someone is when they're actually just being friendly. It's less embarrassing at least.
