It really is about time that we start taking labels off of things that really don't need to have them. Having muscles, knowing how to fix cars, being a boss, none of these things should be considered more appropriate for one gender or another. So many people probably never realize their full potential because they feel that society will judge them if they follow a route that is 'traditionally' expected of men or women. Who benefits from these kinds of labels? The only people that come to mind are gender-peveal party planners, but it's probably time they switch careers anyway.
It was Reddit user u/diablogirl47 who asked the women of Reddit to share the things they enjoy that are usually considered 'masculine.' Seems a lot of women are into some pretty manly things. Somebody tell the gender expression police!
Weight lifting is so good for you. It's a shame that it is deemed only acceptable for men. Imagine if women were encouraged to be strong rather than skinny and delicate.
