Font - theybby Follow I'm screaming??? So my cat knows I get upset when he steps on my paintings (not yelling or anything I think he just sees me spend hours trying to cover up what his paws do) in my “studio" which is a crammed small storage closet with painting all over the floor drying, so like l'm in there rn and I saw him try to get to point A to point b but it was impossible for him to jump over so like he realized the matte parts were dry and like he was stepping on the corners of the pai

Font - delusional-cryptid Follow I do a lot of projects on the floor of my room and rn l'm working with fabric paint on a jacket. The thing is, my cat loves to sit on the clothing and fabric that I leave on my floor. So l'm painting one portion of the jacket and my cat came up and sat on the sleeve, I obviously didn't want her to sit in the paint and mess up what I had just done so I said sternly "Summer!! Get off!" And she immediately did and sat just off of the jacket, right in front of me. Af

Font - bluebonnet-witch Follow Cats care, they just also have the ability to be as thoughtful in their maliciousness as they can be in their niceness. I've seen a cat (who vehemently disliked my sister) avoid everyone's belongings as she delicately walked along a shelf until she got to the only thing of my sister's, which she yeeted across the room.

Font - shootingstarmemories Follow The first cat my family took had was this feral cat who came into our backyard shortly after my grandfather died. He loved my family and could stay inside over night, but over extended periods of time he became depressed and neurotic even with lots of play. So he never managed to be a fully indoor cat. The thing is, my grandmother has always had anxiety, especially when it came to things being clean, which only got worse after my grandfather passed. Our cat goi

Organism - laisai Follow my cat gets onto the bed very carefully because she doesnt want to step on a stray limb of mine and cause me pain. it's the cutest thing. she'll have one paw in the air, look at where she wants to go, look at me, then either slowly press down that paw or move it elsewhere

Organism - iserenademefan Follow When I was growing up, my dad planted a fairly nice sized garden in the backyard and it wasn't fenced properly, so he was afraid our lab- a digger- would ruin it. But whenever Thor walked through the garden, he was always meticulous not to step on the seedlings or upraised earth. Animals are fantastic :)

Font - aarontveit Follow I have two cats, and they are both hyper aware of my sensitivity to physical contact (I have a condition called allodynia, and it's intensified because of my fibromyalgia & MS). So, when they both want to cuddle with me, they both like to lay right up against and/or on me. It's very sweet, but also very uncomfortable for me at times. But they are hesitant and cautious every single time they go to step on me (especially if I'm telling Pete - Shiloh's fat & lazy & barely j

Font - For example, if I'm laying down & Pete wants to lay with my arm around him, he'll come over and step along my side slowly, and he'l| hunker down, as if l'm gonna get mad or something (I never do, it's just how he is), and he'll very carefully step on my arm, and he'll watch my face the entire time he does, because there have been numerous times where he's done this, put his full weight down, and reduced me to tears because of how much it hurts me. And there have been times where l've just

Font - Shiloh doesn't even like laying on me because of how uncomfortable it can be for me (it seems, because she's a very affectionate girl who loves getting attention anywhere & anyhow). She'll happily lay against my side though, with her head kind of incredibly lightly laying against my shoulder. If I'm having a day of intense chronic pain, or I'm feeling nauseous, because of how my computer desk/chair meets my bed, they'll take turns, take turns, laying at my feet with their head sleeping on

Font - But honestly, cats are very intuitive this way. They register those emotions. My babies always know when I'm crying, and Pete will rush over if l'm sobbing to make sure l'm okay (before promptly running away, because he, like his owner, cannot comprehend Intense Human Emotional & flees when it occurs), and Shiloh will sit with me & lick my knees? I don't fully understand that one, but I accept it. Tjust will never get over how cautious Pete is when he steps on my arms, stomach, legs, anyw
