Tumblr Thread: The Gentle Giants Of The Horse World
If there is one animal that we believe does not get enough love, it's horses. Yeah, everyone knows what horses are, but does everyone know that horses are majestic galloping creatures of beauty? Do they know that horses get spooked by affectionate goats with pool noodles on their horns? Do people really know anything about horses other than people sit on them? We don't think so, so we think that it's time to learn.
We shall start with the most majestic galloping enormous horses of them all: draft horses. They are huge and gorgeous, they are the gentle giants of the horse world, and they are truly whinnying at life. And now, they're about to get the appreciation that they deserve.

This horse is not merely gigantic, it also happens to be one of the most unique and prettiest horses that we have seen. Admittedly, we here might be too scared to get on top of a horse like that, but we can imagine that being on top of this majestic creature feels like being on top of the world.

You are almost right. Big Jake was indeed one of the tallest horses, but the actual title of tallest and heaviest documented horse goes to the shire gelding Mammoth. Sadly, they have both passed at this point, but their legacy lives on, and we definitely think that every horse lover should know about them.
