Couple Opens Overweight Luggage At Airport And Discover Their Chihuahua Inside

Travelling can cause some major confusion and hiccups. How many times have you guys gotten mixed up about flight times or passport renewal? It happens to us more than we'd care to admit, not to mention the stress of airports! One Texas couple had a travel hiccup that made everyone come together and laugh! A tiny stowaway, their Chihuahua Icky, made her way into their suitcase and declared that she would be joining them on their trip. While at check-in they noticed that their suitcase was overweight, after attempting to do some rearranging, out came Icky!

"A Texas couple heading to Las Vegas for vacation had a surprise stowaway in their luggage: their pet Chihuahua. When Jared and Kristi Owens went to check-in for their Southwest flight out of the Lubbock airport, they discovered that their dog, Icky, was not ready to be left behind. The couple learned that their bag was overweight, and as they prepared to move things around in their luggage, Icky made her big reveal. The Owens said that in their rush to pack, they did not realize that the Chihuahua had made herself comfortable in their suitcase." Via NBCDFW.

    Now that is quite a surprise. We wonder how we would have reacted if we were in this couple's situation! And how kind of Cathy to offer to watch Icky until they got back? Now that's some superior customer service, y'all.

    And out comes Icky. This whole situation begs the question, how did the Owens not notice that they packed their dog?! She is pretty tiny, but this seems too crazy to be real. All we can do at this point is laugh.
