Delusional Mom Refuses To Attend Gender Reveal Party For Daughter's Pet Lizard

If you don't smell it yet, we have a feeling you might after scrolling through this AITA reddit debacle. OP, aka 'Mom' we use quotes because we're not entirely sure her behavior warrants referring to her by this coveted title, refuses to go to her daughters friendly gathering only because she refers to it jokingly as a 'gender reveal party' for her pet lizard.
OP is salty that her daughter, who is asexual, is celebrating pets as if they are kids. OP finds this to be offensive, and declares that she will only come to a 'gender reveal party' when it is for a real child. Well, we find OP offensive for not respecting her daughter and rejecting her daughter's attempt to spend time with her. All because of a gender reveal party for a lizard? Come on OP, tell us why you're really mad.

Oh, have you been very supportive of this decision? Really, OP? Because it sounds a lot like you are offended by jokingly calling a friendly gathering a 'gender reveal party' to the a disgustingly unreasonable point. Check yourself.

A SMALL GET TOGETHER WITH CAKE AND FOOD. We just can't with OP today, it seems like every day people get more annoying. This one takes the cake. Spend some time with your daughter and appreciate her hilarity. She sounds awesome.
