Having twins seems tough, especially in the infant through the toddler stage. Plenty of parents seem to color-code their twins in the early years; the idea is to keep track of who is who without (hopefully) causing too much chaos along the way. Apparently, not everyone out there approves of this method. Redditor u/Throwaway_twin_sons_ took to the popular subreddit r/AmITheAsshole to ask whether she and her husband were wrong for exclusively dressing their 1.5-year-old twin sons in color-coded shirts. One gets blue, the other gets green. Simple, right?
One of OP's husband's cousins apparently didn't like this method and told OP at a family Christmas party that having color-coded shirts stifles the children's individuality — apparently, the cousins freaked out even further when OP said she would start introducing different shirts once the twins reached 2.5 or 3 years old.
