Not everyone has a significant other to share a kiss with at midnight on New Years, and some of those that do have a significant other will still choose their cats' forheads over a magical new years kiss. We cat people understand this logic, though it might be hard for non cat people to understand.

Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of giving a cat a foreheard smooch knows that cat foreheads are ripe for the smoochin' and even better, sometimes you'll even get a loving smooch back. It's a new year, and that is cause for celebration. Ditch the resolutions and just focus on being the very best version of yourself! Give your cat a kiss and let's meow our way through 2022.

Little cat foreheads are just begging to be smooched, and when you don't have easy access to a significant other your cat's forehead is an excellent back up. In our opinions, New Years kisses are way overhyped anyway, might as well kiss your feline friend who want ever lie, steal, or hurt you. XO
